Delhi Agra Jaipur Goa Tour
For those people who love the sun and the sand, who revel in fun and frolic, Goa is the place to be. The most popular vacation spot in India, it is the perfect beach city, with everything on its palate, be it food, music, culture, history, adventure, or beauty. With over 40 beaches to choose from, visitors have their fill of lolling on the sands, playing volleyball, swimming and surfing, dozing off and waking to spectacular sunsets. The overall environment is one of a city of holiday, and this is something that does not change throughout the year, although the winter eason is without doubt the most packed and carnivalesque.
The state of Goa is also rich in terms of history and architecture, carrying as it does, the influence of over 450 years of Portuguese rule that finds reflection in much of the architecture, music and landscape of the locale. The city includes some of the most beautiful and revered churches in the country, famous amongst which are the Church of St Francis of Assisi, and the Basilica of Bom Jesus, which is the tomb of St. Francis Xavier and where his mortal remains are believed to be kept.
